Let’s start the day, and what better way to kick it off than by getting your daily dose of Music Quotes and Coffee. It’s Monday, March 16, 2020. And it seems this week will be as hectic as last week. Coronavirus is all over the news and there are deep concerns that we are heading into a recession. So today, I’m focusing on a quote by Neil Gaiman about fairy tales. “Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” And this is a good reminder that we can overcome everything, even a pandemic, even a recession.

We must remember that is not what happens to us, it is the reaction that defines us. So yes, the news might be difficult, yes we might face challenges. But we must have the confidence that we will be able to overcome any problem that is thrown to us. So let’s go and remember that even though we are facing dragons, they can and will be beaten.
