Let’s start the day, and what better way to kick it off than by getting your dose of Music Quotes and Coffee. Today it’s Tuesday, November 18, 2019. It was a long weekend. I hope you had the time to read, learn and get started on your projects and goals.

In order to advance, you need to learn. But first, you have to change your mind and accept your reality. You don’t know everything, and that’s OK. In order to advance, you must be willing to be curious, have a growth mindset and determined to learn. As today’s quote reminds us if you want to learn you will find people, things, courses, and books that will help you in your process. If you are not willing to learn, nobody will be able to help you.

As an example, a few years I had the chance to collaborate with a football coach. He thought he knew everything and didn’t accept any advice, any additional training. His system was outdated but he refused to change. As it turns out, another coach that was part of his staff wanted to learn, paid for more training, saw videos, read books. And when presented with any training options he was fast to accept them. It’s not difficult to see which coach thrived and who was let go.

If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.
