Life can be pretty hard. Or life can be pretty easy. Sometimes we don’t get to choose what we are going to get. But we do get the chance to change our perspective and perception of how things really are. One of the key principles of stoicism is: is not what happens to us, but our reaction to it.

This morning, while preparing to start my daily routine, I read this quote and I immediately knew I had to write about it. In any situation, we have two choices, to be miserable about it, or get stronger by it. It really is our own choice.
