Let’s start the day, and what better way to kick it off than by getting your dose of Music Quotes and Coffee. Friday, August 16, 2019.

Back in the day, there was a TV commercial for a liquor (can’t really remember if it was brandy or rum) that showed the famous actor Anthony Quinn sipping a drink. The tagline was “if the things that are worth were easy to do, everybody would do them.” Doing a quick search I found that the TV ad was in 1980. So ever since I was 7 years old, that quote has stuck with me.

Today as I was searching for today’s quote, I found this quote: “There never has been, and never will be an easy way of achieving something great.” And it immediately reminded me of that TV ad. And it’s exactly like that. Not many people are willing to sacrifice hours of sleep, leaving their comfort zone in order to build something great. Or risking a lot of things just to build or create what they believe in. So this is a great reminder of what you should be doing. Things that are great. Things that will change the world.
