Today we are going to talk about getting things done. We can waste time trying to find the perfect app, the perfect notebook, pen, camera, etc. We are looking for the perfect thing, instead of actually starting to take the picture, to write, or to paint. Remember that we all have choices.

We can wait until we find that perfect thing that will (at least in our mind), catapult us into fame. Or we can get started with what we have. The same applies for work, for life. We can wait until the tide turns, until everything is in place, until the perfect moment, or we can actually start doing something. As today’s quote clearly states, the most effective way to do it, is to do it.

You won’t become an author if you never write. If you want to become a photographer you will never become one until you actually get outside and take pictures. You won’t lose weight or get healthier if you don’t change your habits. If you really want that sale, but until you don’t actually make the call you won’t get it. So as Nike’s slogan clearly says: Just do it.
